Description

Mount Royal University is looking to receive formal proposal submissions from qualified and experienced proponents that can provide electricity products.

Currently, the University has a contract with a company in the delivering of electricity products which will expire August 31, 2021.

On the basis of competitive proposals received, Mount Royal University intends to:

prequalify Proponents that meet minimum scoring criteria, and;
arrange a firm bid round for those prequalified Proponents to review real time fixed price electricity products, for terms of up to five years.

This would secure MRU’s electricity costs within its budgetary objectives and take advantage of the forward market prices for electricity.
