Description

The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Vendors to provide Elevator Maintenance Service in our Campus.
Service to include regulatory inspections and deficiency remediation, defined preventative maintenance scope and frequency, defined repair threshold with response within set turnaround times.
Mount Royal’s intends to select a Vendor/Vendors that will provide solutions to meet the needs of this contract.
Proponent’s responses must demonstrate an understanding of the Universities environment. This project includes a large variety of elevator maintenance requirements.
Mount Royal University intends to enter into a multi-year agreement. The term of this agreement shall be 5 (five) years with an option to extend three (3), one (1) year periods subject to a positive annual review by the Building Operations Department and Procurement Services. The maximum duration of the contract including extensions is eight (8) years.
Contract will begin April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2028
MRU reserves the right to award this contract to one service provider, or multiple providers.

MANDATORY SITE MEETINGS:   February 15, 2023 @ 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. AND  February 16, 2023 @ 8:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
Contractors are required to attend BOTH mandatory site meetings. These are full day site visits to ensure complete awareness of the scope of work and list of equipment.  Please note: The second day will be utilized as required and may not require the entire day session.
