RFP 19-003 - Digital Production Equipment

Mount Royal University is looking to replace all of the digital print production equipment located on the Lincoln Park Campus in the Document Services Department, Room K-105 and the Student Digital Print Centre located in the Cougars Campus Store. The current contract expires on June 30 2019.
MRU requires a print solution that is capable of maintaining and enhancing the current services provided, yet has the ability to adapt to the changing needs and challenges of the print environment to service campus demands.
It is essential to the operations that Document Services be able to meet all production timelines throughout the year, so equipment needs to remain operational with minimal downtime for maintenance and repairs. Document Services is an on-site print service area, which provides print services, solutions and strategies to meet the printing needs of the University. As part of the RFP, MRU is looking for a printing solution that includes, but is not limited to the following:
·         Colour production digital printers with new and current bindery solutions
·         High volume production black and white digital printers with bindery solution
(the equipment must have the ability but not limited to printing tabs, staples, multi-punch, saddle stitch and perfect binding):
·         Make ready software - MRU reserves to right to exclude the software from this contract.
A Service Level Agreement will be part of this contract.  See Appendix “B” Service Level Agreement and will be in place for the duration of the initial 5 year contract.
