Description

The work (“Work”) is generally described as the Municipality of Mississippi Mills Water Storage
Facility. The following is a general but not necessarily all inclusive description of the Work to be
constructed under the Contract:
.1 A new cylindrical glass-fused to-steel above-grade tank with a minimum potable water storage
capacity of 2,500 m3.
.2 A new pumping station building to house pumps, electrical and instrumentation room and a
chemical room.
.3 A new power service in accordance with the local power authority.
.4 Site wide instrumentation and control and network accommodations.
.5 Other site wide upgrades, including utilities and landscaping.

.1 Sealed tenders will be received until:
2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME, Thursday, July 16, 2020, (the date and time shall be the “Tender Closing
Time”)
.2 Tenders, sealed in envelopes clearly marked as “Municipality of Mississippi Mills Water Storage
Facility and Pumping Station; Contract No. PW-20-06”, will be received at the location stated herein
until Tender Closing Time (see Form of Tender for Label). The Tenderer is not to include corporate
name or identification on outside of envelope. The use of the mail or courier for delivery of a tender
will be at the sole risk of the Tenderer and no consideration will be given to tenders deposited after
the Tender Closing Time.
.3 Sealed tenders must be received at the following location (the “Tender Delivery Location”):
