Description

The work included within this contract shall include grading and the resurfacing of the following:
Part A – Surface treatment of Concession 10 North Pakenham, Approximately 4300 meters Starting at Young road and traveling Southeast towards the finishing point Waba Road, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works.
Part B – Surface treatment of Ramsay Concession 12, Starting at March Road and continuing to the dead end cul-de-sac. Approximately 1770m, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works.
Part C – The works in this section are being reviewed as Option A or Option B. The Works related to Option A are surface treatment of Panmure Road, starting at Blakeney Road intersection and continuing to Rock Coady Road, approximately 2600m, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works. The Works related to Option B are asphalt paving of Panmure Road, starting at Blakeney Road intersection and continuing to Rock Coady Road, approximately 2600m, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works.
Part D – Surface treatment of Blakeney Road, starting at County Road 29 and continuing to the Blakeney Bridge, approximately 870m, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works.
Part E – Pulverization of Concession 9 North, Pakenham approximately 3680 meters Starting at Waba Road and traveling Northwest to Barrie Road, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works.
Part F – Pulverization of Bellamy Road approximately 4300 meters between the gravel portion and micro surfaced portion of the road, including supporting works of layout, grading and subgrade works.

SEALED TENDERS on forms supplied by the Municipality of Mississippi Mills Roads and Public Works Department will be received by the CAO, at the Municipal Office located at 3131 Old Perth Road, Almonte until 1:30pm local time, on June 9th, 2023 for the "Tender for Municipality of Mississippi Mills, 2023 Surface Treatment Program – Contract No. 23-13". Tenders will be opened in public at the Municipal Office building immediately following the tender closing.
