PCL/ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM), is inviting Bidders to submit their Statement of Qualifications to prequalify to bid on the Heritage Fine Woodwork Restoration and Reinstallation portions of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. The project is located at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
The approximate construction dollar values of anticipated scopes of work will vary. For the purposes of this prequalification and the mandatory bonding contract surety requirements for scopes over $100,000 noted at 6.7.1, bidders may submit their one (1) Statement of Qualification for any combination of the following:
- Prequalification Package 1048 A – CB Heritage Fine Woodwork Restoration and Reinstallation for projects valued at up to $2M; and/or
- Prequalification Package 1048 B – CB Heritage Fine Woodwork Restoration and Reinstallation for projects valued from $2M to $5M; and/or
- Prequalification Package 1048 C – CB Heritage Fine Woodwork Restoration and Reinstallation for projects valued from $5M to $10M; and/or
- Prequalification Package 1048 D – CB Heritage Fine Woodwork Restoration and Reinstallation for projects values at up to $100,000.
Bidders to note which of the prequalification packages (A and/or B and/or C and/or D) they are submitting for in their Bidder’s Statement of Qualification Introduction Letter, in accordance with 6.2.

This prequalification process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process; the second phase is the tendering process. During the Tendering Phase, the prequalified bidders will be invited to prepare and to submit stipulated price tenders for this work. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a Stipulated Price Subcontract contract with the Construction Manager.
