""PCL/ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM) for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, requests quotation from conservators, including those who have previously submitted expressions of interest.
The Work outlined in the drawings and specifications has been further defined by Part B "Scope of Work".
Bidders should submit a technical and financial proposal to supply Architectural Historical Paint: Conservation Scientist services to assist the Construction Management and Consultant Teams with a programme of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project.
The scope of work of architectural historical paint at the Centre Block building comprises of a variety of existing paints, coatings and decorative painted finishes. As part of a comprehensive investigations programme we require the services of a Conservation Scientist specializing in Architectural Historical Paint. Experience and knowledge of historical paints and historical reproduction paints suitable for use in rehabilitated heritage buildings is also required. The Successful Bidder will be responsible for assessing and analyzing existing conditions, as well as providing recommendations for interventions, as required.
The Successful Bidder must provide Design-Assist-Implement services, participate in Project meetings and workshops, provide build-ability and constructability advice, define and manage Work and design phasing and sequencing in accordance with the project milestones and construction budget."
