This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Executive Search Consultant as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The Executive Search Consultant is expected to seek out and provide suitable candidates to the Coordinating Entity Search Committee. The Search Committee anticipates being actively involved in the process, participating in the short-listing of candidates, conducting preliminary / secondary interviews, carrying out negotiations and presenting the offer of employment to the successful candidate, along with other key activities.
The Consultant should provide the following (but not limited to) services:
- Conduct a broad market search for suitable candidates
- Conduct search related advertising
- Pre-screen resumes
- Provide assistance, if requested, in drafting interview questions
- Administer assessment testing/survey to top candidate(s) for the position and debrief Search Committee of the results
- Conduct reference checks
The Consultant should assist the Search Committee with the following:
- Assist in development and review of the CMO selection criteria
- Assist in development of the candidate interview score card
- Review the “long list” (provided by Consultant) and help develop a “short list”
- Assist in establishing the interview process for the “short listed” candidates
- Participate in the interviews for “short listed” candidates based on established prioritized criteria for selection
