The University of Winnipeg (hereinafter referred as ‘U of W’) is issuing this RFP with the intent of entering into a contract for supply and installation of a new chilled glycol piping service to Graham Hall. The contract will come into effect on or about Feb 1st, 2020 in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter described, and specifications provided. This RFP and the subsequent submission will be referenced and form part of the contract issued to the successful proponent. The University will enter into an Agreement with the Bidder who submits a Proposal that best serves the interests of the University when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria

The existing chilled water piping service to Graham Hall Building is being fed from an existing chilled water plant located in the Sparling Hall Building. This existing chilled water plant has exceeded its life expectancy and is no longer financially responsible for the University to maintain, repair, or upgrade. The existing chilled water piping service will be disconnected and decommissioned from Sparling Hall Building chiller plant. A new chilled glycol piping service will be installed to Graham Hall Building from the existing chiller plant located in the Centennial Hall Building.
