Description

Provision of Management Training Services.

Providing a Management Training Plan that covers the following topics:
- Defining the role of a leader and the new tasks involved,
- Effective communication with employees including dealing with difficult situations,
- Providing constructive feedback and coaching,
- Goal setting for employees and for the manager,
- Delegating work, training staff, and follow up,
- Aligning tasks and goals with Travel Manitoba’s strategic priorities, and
- Collaboration and communication with other managers and executives.
Providing a schedule for the training plan that would include multiple sessions over a 2-6 month period. The ideal session would be 4-6 hours in length (1/2 or full day). The sessions may be conducted at our office or offsite.

Creating written material that the participants can take away for future reference.

Including exercises for each participant to allow them to practice the techniques between session dates.

Propose a separate team building session that would use a tool such as Myers Briggs to assist the entire staff in understanding each other. This session would involve the 30 to 35 people.

Creation of a Performance Management System.

Providing a Performance Management System that includes:
- A timeline of activities for a 1 year period such as when to fill out the evaluation, have the meeting, follow up etc.
- A timeline for new employee feedback and 6 month review form,
- Annual goal setting and measurement,
- An annual performance review form to be completed by employees and their managers,
- Annual review and revision of personal development plans,
- Alignment of Travel Manitoba’s corporate goals and values with individual goals and values.
A training plan to educate all managers on how to implement the new performance management system.
