Description

The Town of Stonewall is inviting qualified contractors to submit a response for the provision of residential curb side waste removal services. The term of the contract the Town is prepared to commit to with the successful respondent will be July 1, 2023 to December 31, 2027 years.

Submission Requirements

By submitting a proposal, the Respondent acknowledges they have read and understand all procedures and requirements of the above referenced RFP and have complied fully with the general terms and conditions outlined in the RFP.

In keeping with the Town of Stonewall’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint, Respondents are required to submit their proposal with Residential Waste Services as the subject line and in PDF format to this electronic address: wosuper@stonewall.ca

All costs to prepare the proposal shall be borne solely by the Respondent.

Responses posted directly to MERX will not be considered.

Responses to this RFP must be received prior to the end of business on the deadline date. Late replies will not be considered.

Responses to the RFP must include the following:

Qualification detail consisting of:

Cover letter including a statement of understanding regarding the requirements of this RFP
Experience with residential waste services
Portfolio of examples of previous and similar work
List of references

Technical Proposal consisting of:

Description of approach
Scope of work including steps taken and time for completion
Description of the type of equipment being used
Other information as deemed necessary by the Respondent to allow the Town to evaluate its response to the RFP

Cost Proposal:

For Option #1 or Option #2:
- An itemized schedule of all expenses, including labour and direct expenses. If use of sub-contractors is proposed, a separate schedule of hours and expenses must be provided for each sub-contractor
- Maximum budget amount inclusive of all fees and expenses

Safe Work Plan

Proof of Safety Certification or submission of plan that indicates how the contractor intends to ensure compliance with Manitoba’s Workplace Safety & Health Act
