RFP-2017-14 - Community Campus Roadworks and Drainage Design

Thank you for your interest in the Town of Niverville (Town). To ensure fairness and
consistency in the bidding process, the Town has put forward a Request for Proposal (“RFP”)
for the detailed design of roadworks and drainage plan for the Niverville Community
Campus and Hanover School Site lands. These lands are currently home to the Niverville
Centennial Arena, Niverville Curling Club, Niverville Dog Park, a compost site (totalling
approximately 14 acres) and a 12.37-acre parcel designated for a new high school as shown
on Appendix B (the “Parcel”).
The Town has seen rapid growth over the last decade. The Hanover School Division has
announced the location of the new Niverville High School which is scheduled to be opened
in September 2019. The site selected will allow for co-location of a new school and a
multiplex.
The purpose of this project is to create:
a) a drainage/site plan for the Parcel;
b) identify road improvements required for Arena Road;
c) a detailed design / IFC drawings that can be used for construction tendering for the
roadworks for:
- the existing Arena Road;
- the extension of Arena Road to the school site; and
- the construction of a parking lot prepared for future paving.
