Description

Northlands Denesuline First Nation Chief and Council are calling for tenders for construction of a 2-cell aerated lagoon with SAGR. The Works generally includes:
1. Clearing and grubbing approximately 4.6 ha.
2. Muskeg stripping approximately 32,700 c.m.
3. Common excavation of approximately 13,550 c.m.
4. Borrow material excavation of approximately 29,800 c.m.
5. Rock excavation of approximately 35,220 c.m.
6. Bedrock crushing approximately 6,050 c.m.
7. Placement of riprap approximately 715 c.m.
8. Installation of approximately 835 m of perimeter chain link fence and gate.
9. Installation of approximately 24,500 sq.m. of 60mil HDPE liner with air relief system and dewatering system.
10. Installation of approximately 442 lin.m. of 200mm forcemain.
11. Installation of 1 pre-packaged Xylem lift station.
12. Construction of approximately 400 lin.m. access road.
13. Decommissioning of existing SBR plant.
14. Fill lagoon and SAGR with lake water.

A visit to the Place of the Work has been arranged for all Bidders on September 20. It is strongly recommended that Bidders attend this visit. Departure will be at 7:00 am CST from Kelly Western Jet Centre, 30 Hangar Line Road, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3Y7. Two (2) planes have been chartered to take bidders to the site. Additional planes will be arranged if required. All participants will share in the cost of the Charter. Confirm attendance before noon on September 16.
