Project Description:
The Phoenix School Modular Classroom Renovation project is the 2550 square foot selective demolition and repair of two (2) modular classrooms and link to the main building of Phoenix School. The location of the repair is on the ground floor level of the south section of the existing school at 111 Alboro Street in Headingley, Manitoba. The work includes removal of existing siding, installation of new weather barrier, strapping, insulation and siding, new fiberglass windows, new hollow metal doors, repairs to wood supports, new concrete footings, and minor repairs to existing floor, wall and ceiling finishes. Work also includes incidental removal and reinstallation of electrical and mechanical devices to suit replacement of siding.
Bid Closing Date: before 2:00pm local time, on Friday, June 2nd, 2017, as designated by CBC radio.

Documents will also available through the Winnipeg Construction Association, and Condata. Hard copy and digital documents will be available on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017.
Site Examination:
A mandatory site examination meeting for General Contract bidders with the Consultant and Owner’s representatives has been scheduled for 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at the location of Phoenix School, 111 Alboro Street, Headingley, Manitoba. Bidders shall meet at the front office.
Bid security requirements: Bid bond - 10% (ten percent) of the Bid Price, with Consent of Surety, to accompany Bids.
Construction Start: July 4th, 2017
