Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council has recently updated their standards to PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) 4.0 as of April 1, 2024. Manitoba is to meet PCI DSS 4.0.1 compliance across 30+ websites. Our focus is on satisfying Requirement 6.4.3 (script inventory and authorization) and Requirement 11.6.1 (real-time detection of unauthorized changes). Ensuring protection against client-side attacks, such as e-skimming, Magecart, and man-in-the-middle attacks, while maintaining compatibility with our existing web platforms is critical.
