This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) to mechanical contractors to submit proposals for ventilation upgrades as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).
The work is being done at the University College of the North Vocational Shops located at 436 7th Street, The Pas, Manitoba. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of the existing ventilation systems serving the welding shop, wood working shop, millwright shop, automotive shop and corridor. Work site location will be partially occupied during construction.

Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.
There will be no site visit, however, if the Proponents wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the project manager at Ed.Pianim@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for questions January 28, 2025. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.
Bid submission deadline is February 6, 2025 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
