832-2024 - 2024 Sewer Renewals and External Point Repairs - Contract 1

D3.          SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of rehabilitation of various sewer segments throughout the City of Winnipeg with external point repairs, sewer stabilization, manhole repairs/replacements, sewer abandonments and full segment renewals.  Sewer repairs and replacements range from 200mm to 375mm in diameter.

D3.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   External point repairs of 200mm to 375mm diameter sewers at approximately seventeen (17) locations;
(b)   Sewer Stabilizations;
(c)    Manhole repairs and replacements;
(d)   Full segment renewal on Semple Avenue;
(e)   Full segment renewal on Lane west of Dominion Street;
(f)    Full segment renewal on Easement east of Osborne Street N;
(g)   Full segment renewal on Keewatin Street;
(h)   Full segment renewal on Enniskillen Avenue;
(i)     Full segment renewal on Dudley Avenue;
(j)    Sewer service renewals and reconnections;
(k)    Abandoning existing sewers and manholes;
(l)     Sewer and sewer service video inspection;
(m)  Temporary sewer by-pass pumping; and
(n)   Temporary and permanent restoration of boulevard and pavement areas.

D3.3        The following shall apply to the Work:
