Description

SMS Engineering Ltd, on behalf of Red River College, is inviting Electrical Contractors to prequalify for Electrical Contracting Services to provide electrical construction services for the replacement of all the existing lighting and control, at the Red River College - 2280 Saskatchewan Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3Y9, Manitoba Stevenson Aviation Building. Electrical Contractors wishing to pre-qualify to bid are invited to submit completed pre-qualification documents as described below.

Project Scope

It is intended that the project General Contractor is an Electrical Contractor and is responsible for all sub-trades. The basic scope of work below is not a final list of all. This is not intended to be a sequence of construction.

- - Work in existing building while occupied by students and staff
  - Remove all existing lighting and replace with new LED fixtures.
  - Replacement will not be one for one.
  - Remove all existing line voltage switching and replace with low voltage lighting control system.
  - Remove existing 347V wiring and conduit and replace with new 120V.
  - Patching/repairing and painting, as required.
  - Contractor shall be responsible to apply for all applicable incentives and rebates associated with the lighting and lighting control upgrade including but not limited to Efficiency Manitoba.
  - Building is approximately 50,000 sqft

Two hardcopies of the proposal. Include a letter of transmittal on the Proponent's letterhead, signed by the appropriate officer(s), and
A portable USB drive containing an electronic copy (PDF format) of the proposal.
