Description

.1 Work of this Contract comprises of disconnection and removal of the existing boiler
controls system. The work will need to proceed in phases, as there is a requirement to
maintain two boilers in operational state for the duration of the project.

.2 Work will also comprise of the installation of a new boiler control system, new I/O
modules, and instrumentation as shown in the drawings. The work comprises of all
mechanical, controls, and electrical work necessary to yield a fully functioning boiler
control system that operates in a manner that is equivalent or better than the existing
system.

.3 If any Alternate Prices #1 to #10 are accepted, the work will also comprise of the
removal of existing instrumentation as shown in the drawings and the installation of new
instrumentation to replace this. Refer to applicable section in this specification and
drawings for detail.
