This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for security services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The scope of this RFP is for security services at healthcare sites within Manitoba, including security guards, security supervisors, patient watch services, mobile patrol services, and other healthcare security as required. Services are further described in detail in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years with an option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional optional terms of two (2) years each.
There are five (5) groups that proponents can bid on. Each group will be awarded to one (1) proponent. The proponent must be able to provide services to all of the locations within each group (see Annex D for requirements). Proponents can bid on one or more of the groups.

Group 2 – Northern Regional Health Authority (NRHA)
Group 3 – Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority (IERHA)
Group 4 – Southern Health-Santé-Sud (SH-SS) – Portage La Prairie
Group 5 - Southern Health-Santé-Sud (SH-SS) - Steinbach
Group 6 - Southern Health-Santé-Sud (SH-SS) - Winkler
