This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Professional Services for the development of a ‘the Service’, which will enable delivery of a fully integrated provincial health system in Manitoba as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The services shall be placed within the context of disparate geographical and patient distribution, advancements in digital technology, and evolving inter-professional team-based models of care. This RFP also includes the opportunity for Shared Health to extend the services to include implementation support services at its sole option subject to required Government budgetary and program approvals.
The proponent should have experience and expertise in assessment and understanding of population based, collaborative multi-sectoral care models that are supported through technology, service integration and coordination (scope includes emergency, acute care, primary care, preventive care, community care, wellness care, rehabilitative and support care). Current jurisdiction level planning experience (provincial, national and/or international experience) and/or experience with successful clinical services planning and coordination are essential.
