Description

Supply and load approximately 15,000-18,000 metric tonnes of “traffic C gravel” from the Blumenort area and approximately 20,000-23,000 metric tonnes of “traffic C gravel” from the Monominto area with all labour, equipment and materials being supplied by the successful contractor as per the following specification:

Supply and load approximately 15,000-18,000 metric tonnes of “traffic C gravel” from the Blumenort area. All “traffic C gravel” to test around 12% clay content.

Supply and load approximately 20,000-23,000 metric tonnes of “traffic C gravel” from the Monominto area. All “traffic C gravel” to test around 12% clay content.
RM Public Works Manager reserves the right to have seive test done at suppliers expense if any one suspects quality control problems with the material.
Material to be loaded with a loader equiped with a scale.
Scale ticket copies to be supplied to the truck driver and RM employee.
A contingency plan for a replacement loader must be in place and agreed upon with the municipality in case the loader or loaders being used for loading were to break down, so not to interupt the RM gravel hauling program.
Delivery tentitively set to start when when provincial road restrictions are removed from surrounding PR roads, pending weather.
Material to be supplied as per RM instructions and schedule.
