SCOPE OF WORK
Road Repair Scope of Work:
Areas to be repaired as per attached Schedule A1.

• For a previously asphalted cut:
  • Mill at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide circumference around the repair area.
  • Apply tack oil & fill depression & milled area with A1 asphalt flush to restore the road to a smooth driving surface, with no shoulder drop off.

• For a new cut that is gravel filled:
  • Mill at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide circumference around the cut area.
  • Excavate to 100 mm, compact base, supply tack oil & 100 mm A1 asphalt.
  • If the base is not suitable, excavate 400 mm and fill to 300 mm with compacted ¾” down limestone, compact base, supply tack oil & 100 mm A1 asphalt.
• Excavated material can be used to regrade the shoulder.
• Excavated asphalt disposal area to be designated by the owner.
• The contractor is responsible for all materials, and all locates.

• Areas to be patched as per attached Schedule B.
• Apply tack oil and add A1 asphalt to a level that removes the depression in the roadway and restores the road to a smooth driving surface, with no shoulder drop off.
