1.2 SUBMISSION DEADLINE AND LOCATION
.1 Bids must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM local time on February 8, 2022 (the “Submission Deadline”). Bids received after the Submission Deadline will not be considered by the Owner, and will be returned, unopened, to the Bidder.
.2 Bids must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the Tender Document reference and Bidder’s name and address, and delivered to the offices of the Prime Consultant, namely: Ray Bodnar, P.Eng. Senior Mechanical Engineer KGS Group 3rd Floor – 865 Waverley Street

.3 Electronic submission is acceptable provided all conditions listed in this specification Section 00 11 16 Invitation To Bid are met and a paper copy of the bid is received within 48 hours of electronic submission. If all paper copies of the documents are not received within 48 hours of electronic submission, the bid will be void.
.4 The designated time piece for the Submission Deadline shall be the switchboard clock at the reception desk, located in the offices of the Prime Consultant.
.5 Bids will be opened publicly following the Submission Deadline.

1.4 MANDATORY SITE VISIT
.1 A mandatory site visit for any Bidders who have not previously visited the site will be held on January 26, 2022, commencing at 9:00 am. Those wishing to attend the site must contact Jeromy Stril no later than January 21, 2022 via email.
.2 Attendees are to assemble at the reception desk at The Flin Flon General Hospital in Flin Flon, Manitoba.
.3 The site visit is mandatory for all Bidders who wish to submit bids for this Project. Failure to attend will result in your bid not being accepted. Subcontractors are welcome, but not required, to attend. Bidders who have visited the site at a previous date are not required for another site visit.
.4 Verification of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is required before entry to the facility.
