4. Intent
.1 Intent is to solicit Responses for the Engineering Consulting services contract for the Thompson General Hospital & Northern Lights Manor PCH Nurse Call Systems Upgrade located at 871 Thompson Drive South in Thompson & 274 Bracken Street in Flin Flon, Manitoba.

.2 Renovations deal primarily with minor Carpentry, Prep & Painting, Nurse Call & Patient Wandering Security Systems knowledge, Infection Control Practices within Healthcare knowledge, and Electrical disciplines.

.3 The project should be substantially completed by October 2021. The preliminary target dates for the various phases of the project are as follows:
.1 Release of EOI: March 16th, 2021
.2 Site Visits ( Non-Mandatory ): Time Period of March 23rd -25th , 2021
.3 Closing Date of EOI: March 31st, 2021
.4 Notification of Successful Respondent: 3 weeks after closing date.
.5 Completion of 95% complete Design Development and Documentation: 8-10 weeks after notification of award.
.6 Review of 100% complete documentation with Class A budget and approval to proceed to tender: 4 weeks.
