DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:
Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for the refurbishment of eighteen (18) intake and ten (10) draft tube stoplogs at the Pine Falls Generating Station.

MANDATORY CRITERIA:
All proposals/tenders must meet all of the following criteria, in Manitoba Hydro’s determination, in order to proceed to the second stage of the evaluation process:
(a) Previous experience with handling, shipping, machining and welding steel assemblies that are 20 ft x 6ft or larger and weighting more than 15,000 lbs
(b) Evidence of CWB or AWS welding certification for the company and copies of personnel certification from CWB or AWS for the personnel who will be performing the Work.

SITE VISIT
- A mandatory Site visit will be held on September 5, 2024, at 13:00 CDT for all potential Proponents.
- To register the name(s) and number of a Proponent’s representatives wishing to attend the Site visit, each Proponent shall contact the Enquires contact on the Cover Page.
- Each Proponent’s representative will be required to legibly record the Proponent’s and his/her personal name and signature on Manitoba Hydro's Site sign-in sheet as evidence of attendance at the Site visit.
- Failure to attend a mandatory Site visit shall disqualify a potential Proponent from further participation in this procurement process.
