Manitoba Housing requires the services of a contractor to perform septic tank replacements to 27 single-family homes in Cross Lake and Norway House Manitoba.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, decommissioning and removal by excavation of existing septic/holding tanks, pumps, and associated equipment as well as removal of discharge pipes from residence to tank and force-main pipes from tank curb-stop connection with municipal low-pressure systems. New septic tank systems will include installation of new fiberglass tanks with “deadman” anchor systems, new discharge pipes, new force-main connections to municipal low-pressure system, new pumps and high-water alarms. Work will require confined space entry to replacing/rerouting of discharge pipes and electrical in crawlspace.
Units will be occupied during construction.
For suppliers who wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the Project Manager Gazi Rahman at 204679-5768. Anyone entering the community requires approval from the community of Cross Lake or Norway House. Approval is not guaranteed and the site visit is dependant on this.
Manitoba Housing provides all tenants 48 hours notice prior to entering a unit. All Bidders requesting to view the interior of an occupied site must allow Manitoba Housing time to provide notice to the tenants.
Deadline for questions is March 23, 2021. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at Gazi.Rahman@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline is March 30, 2021 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
