CS2020-21-T-419530 - Mechanical Upgrades

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a contractor to perform a mechanical upgrades on a twelve suite one storey motel style residential building.

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of supply fan including supply air ductwork, heating coils and filter section, existing bathroom, laundry and kitchen exhaust fans and associated ductwork, existing ductless split system, corrugated ductwork from the range hood, water closets and drainage piping; installation of new heat recovery ventilator (HRV) unit including electric heating coil, DX cooling coil, factory controls, refrigerant piping to the cooling coil using non-toxic and non ozone depleting refrigerant, insulated supply air ductwork, grilles and balancing dampers, insulated exhaust air ductwork, manual balance dampers and duct access doors, new fire dampers, new 2-ton ductless split unit, mini make-up air unit; insulation of refrigerant piping and ductwork; testing and balancing of the new HRV and grilles; replacement of teleposts in crawlspace; and patch and touch up painting of all finished surfaces damaged or exposed in the course of this contract including gypsum wall board.

Worksite location will not be occupied during construction.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for February 17, 2021. Bidders who wish to attend the site visit must pre-register with the Contract Administrator via email at el.delacruz@gov.mb.ca prior to noon of February 16, 2021.
When pre-registering, provide the name of the individual attending the site visit along with their email and telephone contact information.

The attendance sheet will not be passed around for signing. Attendance sheets will be prefilled based on pre-registration. Your attendance will be checked off and confirmed by the Project Manager.
 
Deadline for questions is March 2, 2021. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at el.delacruz@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at todd.pawluk@gov.mb.ca .The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
