This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Design-Build Services. This RFP is open to all interested bidders.
Manitoba Housing’s objective of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified Proponents to provide the complete Design-Build Services for the turnkey construction of two (2) – three (3) bedroom housing units in South Indian Lake, MB. The Proponent must utilize the design-build service delivery methodology and a full range of professional consultant and contractor services during the design and construction phases of the project. The Services consists of but is not limited to the design and construction of the two (2) housing units, as described in Section 2 – Project Overview, Appendix 1 – Scope of Work and Schedule A – Description of Services. This Project is part of The Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation's Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) Program.

Proponents and their respective team members including consultant, sub-consultants, and subcontractors may attend an optional site visit on the following specified date, time and Project site location:

Attendance at the optional site visit is not a mandatory requirement of this NRFP. Proponents attending the above scheduled optional site visit should meet outside the Band Office prior to the time indicated above. Although a site visit is not mandatory, Manitoba Housing suggests that Proponents visit the site.
Bidder’s attending the site visit are to contact the Project Manager identified below to confirm their attendance by no later than Monday, March 2, 2020.
If Proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the Manitoba Housing Project Manager identified below:

All questions and inquiries must be submitted no later than April 6, 2020 to the Manitoba Housing Contract Administrator via email at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca. Proponents cannot rely on information received from Manitoba Housing’s representatives or other third parties at the site viewing unless Manitoba Housing provides the information in writing.

The proposal submission deadline is April 15, 2020 at 2:00:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the ebid requirements.
