This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.

Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor to perform a common area refresh and exterior repairs to single storey building with 10 units.

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, supply and install new fire/safety systems, new suite and common area entry doors, and insulation in attic; patch and paint common areas; remove and replace common area flooring, caulking on exterior windows, doors and penetrations; repair soffit/fascia/raingear; repoint and repair masonry brick and foundation face panels.
Work site location will be occupied during construction.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Central Daylight Time (CDT). Bidders are to meet at the main entrance.
Deadline for questions is July 31, 2020. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at gavin.scott@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline is August 6, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the ebid requirements.
