This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Central Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, The Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation (“Manitoba Housing / Manitoba Families”) (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Deconstruction of the Existing Building B (Poplar Row, Kelsey Estate) located at 29-34 Tremauden Avenue, The Pas, MB as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3). CPPD requires the services of a Demolition Contractor for Deconstruction of the Existing Building B (Poplar Row, Kelsey Estate) located at 29-34 Tremauden Avenue, The Pas, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, Deconstruction of one – seven unit, two-storey townhouse building, including its foundation, on a lot owned by Manitoba Housing. Originally built in 1972, this fire damaged apartment block (wood framed construction with concrete foundation) was restored later, however, has reached the end of its lifecycle and now requires to be demolished. Work site location will not be occupied during construction.
 
An optional site visit is scheduled for September 16, 2021.
 
Bidders are to meet at 29-34 Tremauden Avenue, The Pas, MB
Physical distancing will be strictly enforced. A mask must be worn during the site visit.
 
Deadline for questions is September 22, 2021. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca
