2018.LGCA.01 - RFP - Cannabis Edibles Focus Groups

The Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba (LGCA) is issuing this RFP in preparation for the legalization of non-medical edible and concentrate cannabis. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified research organizations to conduct focus group research in February and March 2019 examining perceptions and knowledge about cannabis, and particularly cannabis edibles and concentrates.

The LGCA requires focus groups in various provincial locations, including four (4) in Winnipeg, two (2) in Brandon and two (2) in Thompson. The scope of work includes developing screening guides, reviewing and providing feedback on a discussion guide, recruiting participants, booking meeting space, coordinating audio-visual services, moderating the focus groups and providing verbatim transcription and aggregated demographic information. The successful proponent will work closely with the LGCA to ensure the highest caliber of research. The consultant must complete the project by March 31, 2019.
