B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Bidder shall attend a Site meeting at 9:00 am on August 26th, 2024 or 9:00 am on August 28th, 2024. Bidders will meet at 1701/1745 Wyper Rd and requires a minimum of Winnipeg Police Security Clearance Level 1. The site visit will be restricted to the open area where the fence is to be installed; there will be no tour of the interior of any building. Bidders are to complete and submit the security clearance requirements in Part F1.3 (f) prior to the site meeting. Attendance is mandatory, and the Bid of any Bidder not having attended will be rejected on the basis that it is non-responsive.
B3.2 Bidders are to provide the Contract Administrator via email the names and dates of birth of personnel attending the site investigation 48 hours prior to the site investigation to confirm Level 1 Security Clearance.
B3.3 Bidders will require Level 2 Security Clearance to obtain copies of the drawings and specifications for their use, and only those with Level 2 Security Clearance are permitted to view these documents.
B3.4 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site Meeting unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.5 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
