D2. SCOPE OF WORK
D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the replacement of a 900mm cast iron flap gate at the D’Arcy Wastewater Pumping Station.
D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Taking measurements of the existing flap gate and thimble for the purpose of procuring the new flap gate;
(b) Procurement of a new round cast iron flap gate;
(c) Removal and disposal of the existing cast iron flap gate;
(d) Installation of the new cast iron flap gate.

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Bidder may make an appointment to view the Site by contacting the Contract Administrator.
B3.2 The Bidder is advised that information shown on the drawings may be out of date and confirmation of accessibility and site conditions is strongly advised.
B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.4 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
