B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 The Bidder is advised that access to the Site is restricted as private property
authorization is required. As such, the Contract Administrator has coordinated with the private
property owners to allow Bidders to view the Site on their own without making an appointment only
during the designated timeslot and date identified below. Accessing the private properties outside
of this date and timeslot is not permitted. At a minimum, the Bidder’s personnel viewing the Site
shall ensure they are wearing high visibility vests to clearly identify themselves as Contractor
personnel. Viewing of the Site is not mandatory and is intended to further supplement the Site
photos included in the appendices and to provide Bidder’s a better look at access constraints and
existing conditions.

observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.3 The Bidder/Proponent is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to
be done and all conditions that might affect his/her Bid/Proposal or his/her performance of the
Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which
have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
