B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be available at the Site at 9:00 a.m. on July 6, 2022 to provide Bidders access to the Site. Bidders are instructed to meet at the first location at 9:00 a.m., after which the site investigation will move to the subsequent location(s).
(a) Site 2 – Provencher Bridge Force Mains, East Abutment
(b) Site 2 – Provencher Bridge Force Mains, West Abutment
(c) Site 1 – Old Forts Bridge Force Mains, North Abutment
(d) Site 1 – Old Forts Bridge Force Mains, South Abutment
(e) Site 3 – Norwood Bridge Force Main, North Abutment
(f) Site 5 – West Perimeter Force Main, Pumping Station
B3.2 Proponents attending the site investigation are required to register for the site investigation at least 48 hours prior by contacting the Contract Administrator listed in D5.
B3.3 The Bidder is advised that access to pipelines at bridge sites is considered Confined Space and access is restricted. Confined space entry will not be permitted during Site Investigations.
B3.4 Although attendance at the Site Investigation is not mandatory, the City strongly suggests that Bidders attend.
B3.5 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.6 The Bidder may view portions of the site located within public right-of-ways without making an appointment.
