B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be
available at the Site at 1:00 pm on March 13, 2023 to provide Bidders access to the Site.
B3.1.1 Bidders are requested to register for the Site Investigation by contacting the
Contract Administrator identified in D5, via e-mail, before 4:00 pm on March 10, 2023.
B3.1.2 Bidders are requested to meet at visitor parking in front of the Administration
Building at the North End Sewage Treatment Plant, 2230 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB.
B3.1.3 Bidders attending the Site Investigation are required to provide their own
Personal Protective Equipment; at a minimum hard hat, CSA approved safety footwear, face mask,
hearing protection and safety glasses.
B3.2 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.3 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume
all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have
been determined through such inspection.
