B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Bidder may make an appointment to view the Site by contacting the
Contract Administrator. The Project Manager or an authorized representative will conduct a Site
Investigation of the North End Sewage Treatment Plant (NEWPCC), located at 2230 Main Street,
Winnipeg, MB, for each individual Bidder during the weeks of May 9 - 13, 2022 and May 16 – 18,
2022. In person site investigations will be by appointment only and for a maximum of three (3)
attendees per Bidder to maintain current social distancing measures related to the COVID-19
pandemic. The tour will be approximately two hours in duration.
(a) Bidders are requested to register for the site investigation by contacting the Contract
Administrator identified in D5.1, before 4:00pm on May 13, 2022. Site tours shall be registered at
a minimum of three (3) business days prior to the tour date.
(b) Bidders are requested to meet in the parking lot outside the Administration building
reception area of the NEWPCC.
(c) Bidders attending the Site Investigation outlined in B3.1 are required to provide their own
personal protective equipment; at a minimum hard hat, CSA approved safety footwear, safety vest, non-medical mask and safety glasses.
B3.2 Although attendance at the Site Investigations is not mandatory, the City strongly
suggests that Bidders attend.
B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
