Description

D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the construction of a solid waste disposal cell (Cell 33), adjacent to and south of Cell 32, at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility.

D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Project start up including mobilization to Site.
(b) Development, implementation, and maintenance of a site specific SAFE Work Procedure.
(c) Provision and maintenance of temporary facilities and controls.
(d) Excavation of Cell 33 to base grades and hauling of excavated materials to on-Site stockpile areas.
(e) Construction of compacted clay liner.
(f) Supply and installation of geomembrane liner and geotextiles.
(g) Supply and installation of leachate collection system piping and connection to existing leachate collection system.
(h) Supply and installation of drainage blanket materials.
(i) Site restoration.
(j) Demobilization and close out.

Event Note

Further to C3.1, a Site meeting will be held at 10:00 am March 2, 2021 to provide Bidders access to the Site at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility.

The Bidder is advised that the new landfill cell is to be constructed adjacent to the active disposal cell. Therefore, it is advised that the Bidder view the site to understand ongoing limitations towards site access and general landfill operations activities.
