D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the construction of three new flagpoles
and associated landscape, located at 510 Main Street, Winnipeg; and further identified as
Flagpole Addition Project. Work shall include the installation of three new flagpoles on piled
concrete foundations with associated site work as per contract drawings
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Removal of two segments of existing granite bench as identified in contract drawings.
(b) Removal of ends of existing CMU retaining wall of access platform as identified in contract
drawings.
(c) Supply and installation of new concrete piled foundation for the new flagpoles.
(d) Installation of new flagpoles (supplied by the City of Winnipeg).
(e) Supply and installation of new service platform extension on either side of existing service
platform, complete with pavers and CMU retaining wall.
(f) Supply and installation of associated site work as per contract drawings.
D3.3 The following shall apply to the Work:
(a) City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions;
