Description

D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of land drainage sewers
and an Assiniboine River outfall near Ferry Road and Assiniboine Avenue.

D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Construction of land drainage sewers ranging in size from 375mm to 1050mm diameter, by
trenchless and open cut methods.
(b) Construction of a 900 mm inverted siphon land drainage sewer underneath the Ferry Road
combined sewer trunk.
(c) Construction of a 1350mm diameter outfall into the Assiniboine River at Bourkevale Park.
(d) Installation of new connections to existing catch basin and catch basin leads to new Land
Drainage Sewer, abandonment of existing catch basin leads to combined sewers, and
replacement of deteriorated catch basins.
(e) Surface restoration and related works.
