D2. SCOPE OF WORK
D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the construction of a new public washroom facility at 715 Main Street. The work includes an office, toilet stalls, free standing sinks and washroom equipment in a mixed wood construction and container structure that includes hand operated overhead doors. Work includes a sidewalk around the proposed building, regrading resodding of the lot.
D2.2 Three Shipping containers (as is) will be sand blasted and delivered to Site. Contractor shall notify the Contract Administrator five (5) business days prior to requiring shipping containers on Site. The supply and delivery of the shipping containers will be paid by the City of Winnipeg.
D2.3 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Supply temporary washroom facilities for Contractors and Sub Contractors on Site.
(b) Provide and pay all service locates required to complete the Work.
(c) Coordinate Electrical and Data Service Connections to the building. The City will pay the Service Providers for the connection to the building.
(d) The City will apply and pay for the building permit. The permit will be transferred to the Contractor upon issuance.
(e) Supply and installation of all items in accordance with the Contract Documents.
(i) Supply and installation of cast-in-place foundation
(ii) Supply and installation of slab on grade concrete floor slab
(iii) Supply and installation of interior partitions, rails and screens
(iv) Supply and installation of new washrooms
(v) Supply and installation of roof sheathing and waterproof membrane and new flashings
(vi) Supply and installation of gutter and downspout
(vii) Supply and installation of exterior overhead doors
(viii) Supply and installation of mechanical systems
(ix) Supply and installation of electrical systems
(x) Site work: excavation, backfilling grading, utilities, paving and landscaping
