B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Bidder may view the Site without making an appointment.
(a) The Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be available at the Sturgeon
Road Athletic Field gravel parking lot (1160 Sturgeon Road) at the following times:
(i) May 9, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
(ii) May 14, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
(b) During these times the Contract Administrator will be on Site to answer any questions that
the Bidder may have. At a minimum, the Bidder’s personnel viewing the Site shall ensure they are
wearing high visibility vests to clearly identify themselves as Contractor personnel. Viewing of
the Site is not mandatory and is intended to further supplement the Drawing and to provide Bidder’s
a better look at access constraints and existing conditions.
B3.2 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.3 The Bidder/Proponent is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to
be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid/Proposal or their performance of the Work,
and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have
been or could have been determined through such inspection.
