D3.          SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Site Preparation, Construction
of Concrete Flood Walls, Placement of Clay Compacted Dike, installation of Rock Filled Caissons and 350 Tonnes of Rip Rap for Shoreline Stabilization, Site Grading, and Cleanup at 820 Cloutier
Avenue.

D3.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Regrading for site preparation
(b)   Construction of Retainer Wall Clay Dike System
(c)    Installation of 22 Rock Filled Caissons
(d)   Installation of 350 Tonnes of Rip Rap
(e)   Supply and Installation of 1 Sump Pit
(f)    Regrade Riverbank

D3.3        Upon completion, the work site shall be graded for top soil and seed which will be
completed by a separate party.

D3.4        The funds available for this Contract is $274,000.00
(a)   No bids shall exceed this amount.

B3.          SITE INVESTIGATION

B3.1        Further to C3.1, a Site meeting will be held at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on November 25th,
2021 to provide Bidders access to the Site.

B3.2        The Bidder is advised that at the site investigation, project scope and site
familiarization will be provided to potential bidders. There will be an opportunity for questions
related to the tender work.

B3.3        The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
