D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a) Pavement Rehabilitation
(i) Hayes Street from McMeans Avenue West to Whiteshell Avenue
(ii) Horetzky Street from Meadow Gate Drive to Sanford Fleming Road
(iii) Moberly Avenue from Whiteway Road to Cambie Road
(iv) Nugent Road from Hatcher Road to Rougeau Avenue
(v) Peake Avenue from Robson Street to Plessis Road
(vi) Shields Street from Sanford Fleming Road to Moberly Avenue
(vii) Whiteshell Avenue from McMeans Avenue West to Winona Street
(viii) Winona Street from McMeans Avenue West to Larche Avenue West
(b) Active Transportation Path
(i) Larche Avenue West from Transcona Trail to Winona Avenue
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Pavement Rehabilitation
(i) Planing of existing asphalt, as required;
(ii) Renewal of existing sidewalk, as required;
(iii) Installation of detectable warning tiles;
(iv) Installation of catch basins / catch pits and connection pipes;
(v) Abandon existing drainage inlets;
(vi) Full depth concrete joint and slab repairs;
(vii) Removal / renewal of existing curb;
(viii) Construction of modified lip curb;
(ix) Installation / renewal of modified barrier curb and curb ramp;
(x) Adjustment of precast sidewalk blocks;
(xi) Adjustment of existing catch basin, catch pit, and manhole frames and covers;
(xii) Adjustment of water main valves, curb stops and other appurtenances;
(xiii) Placement of pavement repair fabric, as required;
(xiv) Placement of asphalt overlay;
(i) Thickness 80mm (average)
(xv) Boulevard restoration and sod.
(b) Active Transportation Path
(i) Excavation;
(ii) Subgrade compaction;
(iii) Placement of Geotextile Fabric;
(iv) Placement of Geogrid;
(v) Placement of sub-base and base course material;
(vi) Placement of asphalt pavement;
(vii) Supply and Installation of post bollards;
(viii) Regrade granular road, as required,
(ix) Boulevard restoration and sod
