D3.          SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of water mains
on Hoka St, Harvard Av W, Helmsdale Av, Newman Av W, Roch St and Rowandale Av, all within the City of Winnipeg.

D3.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Installation of approximately 986m of 150-400mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method;
(b)   Abandonment of existing water mains as required;
(c)    Abandonment of existing valve pits as required;
(d)   Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required;
(e)   Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies;
(f)    Reconnection or renewal of water service connections;
(g)   Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
