D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of water mains on
Bancroft Bay, Betsworth Avenue, Kane Avenue, McKelvey Street, Lock Street, Silver Avenue,
St Charles Road, Sansome Street, Sargent Avenue, Dundas Street and Milt Stegall Drive within
the City of Winnipeg
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Installation of approximately 1533m of 150 to 300mm diameter PVC water main pipe by
trenchless method;
(b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required;
(c) Abandonment of existing valve pits as required
(d) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required;
(e) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies;
(f) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections;
(g) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
