D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of two parts:
(a) Part 1 – City Funded Work
(b) Part 2 – Manitoba Hydro Funded Work.
Part 1 – City Funded Work
D3.2 Part 1 – City Funded Work shall consist of:
(a) New Multi-Use Pathway Construction and Associated Works
(i) North Winnipeg Parkway – Hallet Street to Pritchard Avenue
(ii) Seigneurie Park Pathway - De La Seigneurie Boulevard to Lagimodiere Boulevard
Part 2 – Manitoba Hydro Funded Work
D3.3 Part 2 – Manitoba Hydro Funded Work shall consist of:
(a) Pathway Lighting and Associated works
(i) North Winnipeg Parkway – Hallet Street to Pritchard Avenue
D3.4 The major components of the Work are as follows
Part 1 – City Funded Work
(a) Part 1 – City Funded Work - New Multi-Use Pathway Construction and Associated Works
(i) Removal of existing concrete pavements;
(ii) Removal of existing fence;
(iii) Removal of existing bollards;
(iv) Removal of trees;
(v) Removal of existing lighting and bases;
(vi) Clearing and grubbing;
(vii) Install snow fence;
(viii) Excavation;
(ix) Placement of geotextile fabric;
(x) Supply and installation of culverts;
(xi) Supplying and placing crushed sub-base material;
(xii) Placement of geogrid;
(xiii) Supplying and placing base course material;
(xiv) Construction of Type 1A asphalt scratch coat;
