The City of Morden invites your firm to submit a tender for supply and install new lift station pumps, control panel and generator.

Description of Work:

Disconnect and remove existing pumps, control panel, transfer switch and generator.
Supply, install and connect new lift station pumps and control panel.
Supply and install new 30 KW 208-volt 3 phase standalone all-weather generator with fuel tank capable of running 48 hours at 50% load.
Supply and install new automatic transfer switch to interconnect the generator and control panel
3 phase power will need to be brought to site by Manitoba Hydro please include in tender.

Instructions to Bidders

Pumps will be new generation 10 HP 208-volt 3 phase with adjustable speed output and reversing capability to clear debris from pumps.

Control panel will have necessary electrical control and compatibility to manage new pumps.

All pumps and control panel will be of Xylem Industries as to match up to existing station.

Specification and all drawings on pumps and control panel supplied by City of Morden from Xylem Industries.

Assistance from City of Morden Utilities Department can be arranged for removal of existing pumps and for bypass pumping during install of new equipment. Down time of lift station must be kept to a minimum.

All existing pumps, control panel, transfer switch and generator that is removed to remain property of the City of Morden.
