Description

In order to ensure equitable access to housing for our growing community, the City of Morden is soliciting proposals from consultants to prepare an affordable housing strategy for consideration by City Council. This strategy will assess the availability of adequate, suitable, accessible and affordable housing in Morden. It shall explore and identify current and emerging housing challenges in Morden; opportunities and risks relating to City engagement; and options for further City involvement.

The Proposal shall include at minimum, the following information:
.1 Proponent experience on assessing the housing needs for municipalities of a similar size.
.2 Key members of the consultant team who will work on this strategy including details of work experience.
.3 Detailed work plan and methodology for undertaking the scope of work described below and addresses background and rationale for undertaking the work.
.4 Description of the process for coordinating with stakeholders, including the City.
.5 Timeline for completion of the work, including commencement and completion dates.
.6 Price to complete the work.
